Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Ahmedabad – Heritage & Cultural Exploration

On arrival in Ahmedabad, begin your Gujarat journey by exploring the city’s rich heritage and spiritual landmarks. Visit Sabarmati Ashram, the historic residence of Mahatma Gandhi, offering deep insight into India’s freedom movement. Explore the beautifully carved Adalaj Stepwell, an architectural marvel from the Solanki era. Continue to Akshardham Temple (Gandhinagar- on extra cost), known for its grand architecture, intricate stone carvings, and spiritual exhibitions. Later, visit Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, famous for its iconic stone lattice “Tree of Life” windows, followed by a walk around Kankaria Lake, a vibrant waterfront attraction.

Day 2: Ahmedabad to Dwarka via Jamnagar

Proceed towards Dwarka with an en-route stop at Jamnagar. Visit Lakhota Lake and Lakhota Museum, showcasing ancient sculptures, weapons, and artifacts from Gujarat’s royal past. Also explore Bala Hanuman Temple, renowned for its continuous chanting of “Ram Dhun,” recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records. Day 3: Dwarka – Complete Spiritual Sightseeing

Explore the holy city of Dwarka starting with Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna and one of the four Char Dhams. Visit Gomti Ghat for a sacred dip, followed by Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Continue to Rukmini Devi Temple, associated with Lord Krishna’s consort. Later, enjoy a boat ride to Bet Dwarka, believed to be Lord Krishna’s original residence, and also visit Gopi Talav, linked to Krishna’s childhood legends

Day 4: Dwarka to Somnath via Porbandar

Travel towards Somnath with a stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Kirti Mandir, a memorial dedicated to Gandhiji, and Sudama Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna’s childhood friend. Continue to Somnath and visit the majestic Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the most sacred Shiva temples in India. Day 5: Somnath to Diu – Coastal Heritage Experience
